Team

The Data Analytics & Reporting team supports the global analytics projects and drives the data driven insights, reports and MIS for the group. Key objectives of this team are:

• Understand the business requirements and deliver insights through data collection and analysis

• Work on Claims and other data analytics report, Provide summary and recommendations/insights

• Consolidate insurance claims & other dataset with proper validations and checks.

• Proactively identify data trends and market intelligence to support the analytics propositions for the businesses

• Proactively work on Claims Dashboard POCs and execute

Analyst

Role Requirements

• Identify the anomalies in the data and liaise with business to understand the data

• Work closely with Manager to define and create a data model which is consistent and scalable using the large existing dataset extracted 

• Streamline the capture of the data according to the data model and work closely across teams to ensure consistent flow of data into the data models

• Demonstrated ability to create meaningful reports using datasets 

• Ability to develop new and maintain existing tools either independently (Excel and VBA based)

• Ability to consolidation and communication of results

• Contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements

• Training and sharing of knowledge with colleagues

• Willingness to acquire new and relevant skills (Power BI/Tableau) , and be abreast with latest trends in data analytics

Qualification

• Undergraduate in any stream.
  

Technical Skills

• 3 to 4 years of experience in the insurance space or a field where candidate was working with varied forms of structured and unstructured datasets.

• Strong in MS excel and ability to develop dynamic interactive dashboards

• Experienced in MIS tools like , Tableau/ Power BI.
