Team

The Specialty Analytics & Consulting team setup within JLT India, Knowledge Services department where the key focus of the team is;

• Development of new, market-leading analytics-based tools to assess risk under direct supervision

• Quantitative modeling and statistical analysis in order to assess risk and viability of risk mitigation solutions

• Providing research support to identify recommendations that minimize the cost of risk

• Other analytical services to client's financial needs to forecast risk, losses, and financial impact

• Risk assessment and possible outcomes by scenario testing

Specialist Data Science

Role Requirements

• Demonstrate experience in actively participating in the process of building a model, incorporating features, tuning performance, and deploying into production, often working under tight time constraints

• Communicate the solution, its parameters, its assumptions and its inner workings to audiences who vary widely in their levels of technical fluency and seniority

• Able to work under very little supervision and guidance, to achieve team goals and complete assignments within established time frames

• Contribute to problem solving within a flat team structure; roll-up your sleeves to contribute to all aspects of the solution

Qualification

• B Tech or BE or IT background with particular interest in Data analytics

• Masters in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence specializing in visualization

Technical Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience

Programming : Java Script, HTML, SQL, C, C++

Libraries/framework : Hands on Experienced in Python. R is good to have not mandatory.

• Demonstrate solid and battle-tested understanding of the standard canon of machine learning practices, including but not limited to:

• Linear and logistic regression

• Decision tree classification and regression

• Neural networks

• Dimensionality reduction

• Clustering

• Bagging, boosting, and other non-parametric methods

• Demonstrate expertise working with and maintaining open source data analysis platforms, including but not limited to:

• Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, Jupyter and other Python data tools

• Spark, HDFS, Kafka and other high volume data tools

• SQL and NoSQL storage tools, such as MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB and ElasticSearch
