Team

The Specialty Data Analytics & Reporting team setup within JLT India, Knowledge Services department where the key focus of the team is;

#1 Developing digital/web based data analytics tool, #2 Digitizing and consolidate data/information present in various systems #3 Creating a robust automated MIS and claims & other reporting system, #4 Provide business with the data analytics with actionable insights by way of using advance visualization techniques.

Key expectation from the role are:

1. Understand the business requirements and should be able define requirement in order to achieve the above

2. Proactively work/ develop POCs of interactive visualization tool for insurance claims data or other non claims databases.

3. Identify data trends and market intelligence to support the analytics propositions for the businesses

4. Understand data requirement and work on augment / supplementing the data.

5. Develop tools that can be scalable and executable

Senior Specialist Data Analyst

Role Requirements

• The candidate needs to collaborate, build, and iteratively improve PoCs to make production ready solutions contributing to data analytics projects specialty broking team to add data analytics as a consistent value proposition to its clients.

• The candidate should be able to understand unstructured data and be able to prepare the data in structured format to deliver meaningful insights.

• This is a hands-on role and thus the candidate should be willing to work on delivery of the outputs, challenge the existing BI tools, and able to create POCs of Interactive Visualization.

• Improvise existing visualisation outputs exploring modern visualization techniques (like- example given in Visualcomplexity.com/ , interactive visualization using real time data, showing more than 2 dimension in a single chart)

• Use machine learning method to move the visualisation tool from xl/ to web based solution

• Design code /algorithm that can be scaled to the larger problem solutions

Qualification

• B Tech or BE or IT background with particular interest in Data analytics

• Masters in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence specializing in visualization

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a application developer /Data consultant where candidate has worked on varied forms of structured and unstructured datasets and has worked on interactive data visualization tools/methods.

• Strong experienced in creating interactive visualization using d3.js and comparable other machine learning visualization tool/web platform

• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and sub-areas (natural language processing, ChatBots)

• Experienced in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts

• Experience in writing clean and effective code in Java, Python, R, Shell, JavaScript etc.

• Experience in machine learning algorithm development

• Experience with NLP in both machine learning and linguistic approaches

• Experience with Amazon Lex / Microsoft LUIS / Google Dialog Flow or other open source bot frameworks

• Experience with machine learning software packages such as MLlib, scikit-learn, H2O, Torch, Tensor Flow, Theano, Caffe

• Skilled in Python based data analytics tools such as parallel python packages, Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, scikit-learn, and Matplotlib

• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5 / Angular / JavaScript

• Experience with full stack software development using AWS, AZURE

Programming : Java Script, HTML, SQL

Libraries/framework : Hands on Experienced in Python/ d3.js and R
