De functie:

You will become part of the Supply Chain applications team which is responsible for the lifecycle of supply chain systems. You will be responsible for a variety of IT activities and projects, ranging from application design, over application development to technical documentation and advanced support.
In your mission you will:

• Translate functional requirements into solid technical designs and solutions
• Execute IT developments, IT validations and IT implementations
• Act as (technical) application owner, providing IT support and technical development expertise
• Support project management activities (e.g. planning and budgeting of IT developments)
• Participate in maintenance activities (e.g. patching)
• Prepares and maintains technical documentation

You work in an international environment and will be in contact with people of different nationalities.
You will report to the IT Team Leader Supply Chain Applications.
Het profiel:

• You have a bachelor/master degree in Computer Sciences / ICT or are equal by experience.
• You have experience in .NET (or Java) development, with .NET, SQL and related frameworks and components.
• You have an IT development background and a very strong analytical mindset to understand the complex environment you will be working in.
• Plus: experience/ knowledge discrete manufacturing, logistics and/or warehousing, working in a large international company, project management certifications.
• You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.
• You are a strong communicator and team player who's able to cooperate with and motivate different people in different levels of the organization.
• You have strong leadership, negotiation & presentation skills and are able to maintain good relations with external parties.
• You have excellent analytical skills, self-drive, enthusiasm and are customer oriented.
• You are pro-active, eager to learn and strive for continuous improvement.

- You live in the wide region of Antwerp - Mechelen and are able to work in Wilrijk.
